Barber-Nichols’ parent company, Graham Corporation, has acquired FlackTek, a leader in advanced bladeless centrifugal mixing and material processing solutions. The addition strengthens Graham’s portfolio of mission-critical engineered technologies and expands its ability to support customers across defense, energy and process, and space markets.
With the acquisition, advanced mixing becomes the third core platform in Graham’s engineered products portfolio, alongside Graham Manufacturing’s vacuum and heat transfer expertise and Barber-Nichols’ turbomachinery capabilities. This broader technology base creates new opportunities to solve complex challenges that require precision, reliability, and performance.
FlackTek’s technology is designed for highly repeatable, precision mixing with faster cycle times, minimal entrained air, reduced downtime between batches, and lower heat transfer than traditional bladed methods. Its systems serve a wide range of applications where material integrity and consistency are critical.
For Barber-Nichols, the acquisition reinforces the strength of Graham’s family of brands and its continued investment in differentiated engineering capabilities. Together, Graham Manufacturing, Barber-Nichols, and FlackTek bring complementary technologies that support increasingly complex customer needs across critical industries.
FlackTek will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of Graham Corporation.
